The VfS would like to increase the share of female researchers in economics and achieve a stronger representation of women in appointment procedures, at conferences, panel discussions and in decision-making bodies.
The Joachim Herz Foundation funded this website. The Foundation promotes education, science, and research in economics and the natural sciences as well as the personal development of teens and young adults. The program area economics supports interdisciplinary research which initiates innovative approaches to economic questions. A further goal of the Foundation is to enhance the visibility of economic research.
