List of Female Researchers in Economics

On this page, you will find a list of female researchers in economics in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who have obtained their doctorate in economics and work at a research institution.

On the European level, there already exists a publicly accessible list of all female members of the European Economic association. However, there is no comparable list for the D-A-CH region region. Our list of female economic researchers intends to fill this gap, and it is not restricted to members of the Verein für Socialpolitik. The list is supposed to contribute to women being more adequately represented at conferences, panel discussions, or various committees. In general, the list aims at increasing the visibility of female researchers.

The table can be filtered by research field, affiliation, and academic position (Associate/Full Professor W2/W3).

The list is updated regularly. If you have any questions, please contact the VfS office (office@socialpolitik.org).
